Hasnain Asghar Qureshi known as Hasnain Nazish (Urdu: حسنین نازشؔ) born on 12th May 1977 in Murree, Rawalpindi a City of Pakistani Province Punjab, is a Pakistani author, Travel enthusiast, Short-story writer (Urdu: افسانہ نویس), Writer, Book-Reviewer and a Teacher.
His father, Muhammad Asghar Qureshi operated a small cosmetics business. He was a religious minded and precticing Muslum.
Hasnain Nazish was educated at Givernment High School, Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Rawalpindi. He pursued higher studies at Government Post Graduate College, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi. He got his Masters of Economics and Urdu Language & Literature Degree from the University of the Punjab and Masters in Business Administration from Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad. After completing his education, he joined Pak-Turk International Schools & Colleges as Urdu teacher. Sooner he was promoted as Head of Urdu Language & Literature. He also served as visiting lecturer in Federal Urdu University of Science & Technology, Islamabad and Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad. He gave many lectures about Urdu Language & Literature in the Educational instites of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Lahore, Multan, Khairpur Mirs, Sukkur, Haiderabad, Jamshoro, Karachi and Quetta. He also had opportunities to address students, teachers and educationiests in Beijing International Studies University (China), Kaisery University (Turkey) and Brooklyn School (New York USA).
He has written 6 books, including short stories (Urdu: افسانہ) and travelogues (سفرنامے) . His first book (Urdu: اُردو ہے جس کا نام) was a syllabus like book about the evulation of Urdu languave & Literature. The book was also taught as a syllabus in Federal Urdu University of Science & Technology Islamabad. He had the opportunity to learn and enhance his literary capabilities by the guidance of Literary Gaints Mustansar Hussain Tarar, Muhammad Mansha Yaad, Iftikhar Arif, Prof. Jalil Aali, Prof. Dr. Ehsaan Akbar & Muhammad Hameed Shahid etc. During 2013 to 2023 he travelled seventeen countries of Asia, Europe and USA and spearheaded the modern trend of travelogues in Urdu literature. So far he has over five travelogues (‘Safar Nama’: in Urdu: سفرنامہ) to his credit.
He was also invited as a studio guest in many FM Radios and TV Channels of Pakistan. He also had the previllage to be invited in China Beijing Radio in China.
During his long career, he has been a newspaper columnist and a contributor to Pakistani newspapers including The Daily Dawn, Daily Pakistan Observer, Daily Nawa-e-Waqt, Daily Asas, Daily Ausaf, Daily Dunya, KitaabNama etc.
